About Linework Studio | 10 Years in Software Development

Who I am
I spent my first 7 years at companies. I saw how startups iterate fast, how mid-sized companies wrestle with complex systems, and how much management overhead a listed company carries. What those years taught me: how to get things done under very different constraints.
Then I went out on my own. The reason was practical: I didn't want to be job hunting in my mid-thirties with no say in it. I wanted more projects, more client relationships, and a name of my own, so that a few years from now clients come looking for me, not the other way around.
What I've built
Since going independent, I've delivered 15 projects. I take work that's challenging, with clients I can rely on. I don't chase volume. I'd rather do each one properly.
- A Shopify store for an accessories brand
- A corporate website and CMS for a listed company
- iOS and Android apps for a medical device
- Mini programs for car charter, pet shipping, and KTV inquiries
- Management systems and back offices for businesses
On every one of these, I was there from requirements through development, launch, and support.
Why clients work with me
I write both the front end and the back end. Problems usually show up at the seams: how modules fit together, how data moves between them. I wrote both sides, so I'm not guessing there.
You talk to me directly. No salesperson, no project manager in between. We discuss requirements directly, I solve the hard technical parts, and the risk is mine.
The code can be handed over. My company years taught me to write code someone else can pick up. Every project comes with documentation and version history, so if you ever switch developers, the next person can carry on.
Fair, not the lowest. New clients pay ¥600 a day, returning clients ¥500. I don't have a sales team, an office, or fixed headcount. That's what gets cut, not the work. You'll also see quotes of ¥200–400 a day out there. I can't make that math work: a developer's salary and social insurance don't disappear.
Because those middle costs aren't there, I can promise full source code and a year of free support.
What I promise
- The source code is yours: all of it, with no back doors and no hidden logic
- 1 year of free support: bug fixes, small adjustments, and server maintenance, with a response within 24 hours
- No empty talk: I don't make promises I can't spell out. I do the work.
